시편 19:1-6
시편 19:1 For the music director; a psalm of David.The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky displays his handiwork.
시편 19:2 Day after day it speaks out; night after night it reveals his greatness.
시편 19:3 There is no actual speech or word, nor is its voice literally heard.
시편 19:4 Yet its voice echoes throughout the earth; its words carry to the distant horizon. In the sky he has pitched a tent for the sun.
시편 19:5 Like a bridegroom it emerges from its chamber; like a strong man it enjoys running its course.
시편 19:6 It emerges from the distant horizon, and goes from one end of the sky to the other; nothing can escape its heat.
해설
이 시편은 하늘과 펼쳐진 창공이 하나님의 영광을 드러낸다고 노래합니다.
낮과 밤이 이어지는 모습은 창조 세계가 끊임없이 하나님을 가리키는 증언과 같습니다.
자연은 사람의 언어로 말하지 않지만, 그 아름다움과 질서는 온 세상에 펼쳐져 있습니다.
시인은 힘차게 떠오르는 해를 기쁨으로 달리는 신랑과 경주자에 비유합니다.
해의 따뜻함이 널리 미치듯, 창조 세계의 증언은 특정한 사람에게만 주어지지 않습니다.
우리는 익숙한 하늘과 햇빛을 다시 바라보며 그 근원이 무엇인지 질문할 수 있습니다.
